Last updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Licensed Package Manager (LPM) service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Description of Service
LPM provides a package registry, marketplace, and subscription-based distribution platform for JavaScript packages.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use LPM. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will promptly terminate their account and delete their personal data.
4. Account Registration
You must create an account to use LPM. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
5. Package Publishing
By publishing packages to LPM, you represent that you have the right to distribute the code and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. Copyright Infringement (DMCA)
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on LPM infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy for instructions on filing a takedown notice. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
7. Payments and Billing
Marketplace purchases and Pool subscriptions are processed through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If you sell packages on LPM, additional terms apply under our Marketplace Seller Agreement.
8. Export Compliance
LPM is operated from the United States. You may not use LPM if you are located in, or a resident of, a country subject to comprehensive US sanctions (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Russia), or if you are on the US Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list or any other applicable restricted party list. By using the Service, you represent that you are not subject to such restrictions.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use LPM to distribute malicious code, violate any laws, or infringe on intellectual property rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
LPM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
